Rugged, robust, reliable. Just what I need

"Especially on productions, where the recorded video footage needs to be put to the editing systems as quick as possible, the Angelbird SSD2go PRO is a killer. We just dropped the project footage on it, edited straight off the drive, worked flawless and with amazing speed, even though we just had access to USB 3.0 (if we would have used the eSatap Port, it would have been even faster). Also reading and writing at the same time, when we rendered stuff out onto the same drive, was super-quick. No hick-ups, no problems. Also, both cables (USB and eSATA) sit quite well in the port on the hard drive and dont get ripped out too easily, which is very important in a bit of a chaotic and fast post-production process. Great build quality overall. I wouldn't hesitate to take it into more extreme working environments (extreme heat or cold).

I'm also using the SSD AVpro for a couple of weeks now, although not as a magazine for internal and external recorders (Blackmagic CInema Camera, Atomos series…), but as an internal drive on the MacBook Pro. What can I say, it's amazingly fast, significantly faster than the other SSD I had in there. But I feel that inside a computer it's a bit of an overkill, this thing definitely belongs into cameras/external recorders, where it can work under more extreme conditions. I'll definitely buy some for my next camera/recorder with SSD-storage, they feel rugged, robust and reliable. Just what I need for my productions."
