FAQ
What's the purpose of the Write-Protect-Switch of the Angelbird SSD2GO PKT and how can I use it? What do the different LED colors mean?
Always ensure you've activated the Write-Protect-Switch during the offloading process. It protects against unintended file deletion and keeps your system from writing unwanted data files to your card.
To properly activate the Write-Protection Switch, please follow these steps:
- Make sure your SSD2GO PKT is safely ejected.
- Disconnect the solid-state drive (SSD) from your host (e.g. your computer).
- Move the switch to the 'on/lock' position.
- Reconnect the SSD with your host.
- The white LED indicates that the SSD2GO PKT is connected to the host (e.g. computer) but the Write-Protect function is not activated.
- The orange LED signals that the Write-Protect function is activated.
- The flashing LED indicated that the data transfer is in progress.
