The following safety factors should be considered when using your storage media in your camera/device:

Formatting: format your storage media in the camera/device when first used, before every new production project and before using your media with a new camera/device model. It's not recommended to use the storage media with the same formatting in multiple cameras/devices. Please always ensure data backup before formatting.
Battery: make sure to monitor the battery level of the camera/device so it doesn´t die on the storage media while producing.
Application: properly insert the storage media into your camera/device. Turn off your camera/device before removing the storage media.
